| Cardinal Richlieu ![]() | Current Wait Time On Tax Stamp
It is now about 16 weeks. Takes the ATF about 2-3 Weeks to cash your check than another 12-13 weeks to get your paper work out. I have heard it is getting longer. The number of class three transfers has gone up 4 fold since November 2008. I just ordered a YHM .308 QD suppressor and this is what the dealer told me to expect. Also if any of you are interested, he had a couple full auto M16 lowers pre-86. He wanted a little more that 12k each. A bit steep for me but he said they are increasing in price very fast. |

Sounds like the wait is really going up. My last transfer from last summer was 56 days total time. I have paperwork in now for another suppressor. It has been 2 weeks since I mailed it. As they say, the waiting is the hardest part.

I sent in the paperwork for my MG in early February, approved May 20th. And that was with the paperwork being sent back twice for errors. I am about to submit for a new silencer I just bought, we will see if the wait time is the same or longer -although I really think it depends on your examiner (I always try to be very polite to my examiner and it has paid off a couple of times).
