If you won your FIRST Tournoment at 1760 yards with a Barrett AW-50 50 cal BMG and got a 1.66 inch group, why the He-- are you asking us for advice for a starting calibar?? You already outshoot anyone I have ever known. Your second place guy is even better than Carlos Hathcock and I worship Carlos. We should all be asking you for advice..... Do you use Bounty or Charmin????

So if this Russian WW II vet was 18 in 1945, he would be 80 or 81 today. Adjust the age or year a bit as you please, but we still arguably have an 80 year old dude shooting an 8 mm rifle at a target a mile away? See...even TJ can do the math. And he doesn't shoot any target farther away than 100 yards!

I was just trying to figure out how old the WWII guy would have to be now.

If he was say 20 years old at the start of the war, how old is he now?

20 + 69 = 89 maybe?

Good shooting for a (nearly) 90 year old guy!!

Must have had a eye corrective operation or else he is doing very well.

Sorry guys I didn't see the other post about age.

I didn't go to the next page

Let's keep the story straight, billy. I thought that your mom was taken by zombies. Or is she a 72 year old zombie mombie sniper?
