| COLT PeaceKeeper .357 mag I wanted to find out if anyone else has a PeaceKeeper or had one. It's an interesting gun, made for the Border patrol back in the 80's, has the AR15 military non glare finish. I got mine at Wally World in 1986, the box had the barrel length at 4" but measures 6", I like the 6" but recently saw one on Gunbroker w/4" barrel, this would be a good carry gun, I think. The short trigger pull profile of the Lawman III in this gun is nice. A very pleasant gun to shoot. It didn't last long as a model being producted. |

| LakerDad, I've got one with a 4" barrel. It's a pretty decent gun, not as smooth as the earlier Colts but a big improvement over the MKIII revolvers. The rubber grips from the factory fit me nicely. I like the no-nonsense matte finish on the Peacekeeper. These V-frame guns are quite sturdy. I think they're a bit heavy for a CCW gun but they would make a great camp or house revolver. |
