O.K. count me in! Also count my son as a definate maybe. Details please. Do we firnish our own target[s] or is one going to make the rounds as it did in the pistol/revolver match?
I assume that this is a rifle match.
Just a thought; I think you should have two catagories scoped and iron sights.
Is just for bragging rights are is there a fee and prizes?

This time I'll remember. Count me in Billy.
But one thing I was a little confused with with the last contest, do I send my target to you via email or snail mail, or simply post it on a thread of yours specifically for that purpose?

Now that I have a membership to a local shooting club, I will definitely do this. I'll be posting a 5 shot group at 50 yards with a 3x scoped Remington 597. I'll do it as soon as deer season ends at the end of this month.

I am in of course you already knew that. As for my weapon of choice it will be the only 22 rifle I own. A Glenfield Model 60. I don't know exactly how well it will do but I guess we will find out.

it gets a little expensive but try as many kinds of ammo as you can get your hands on.

I was already thinking about that. I am going to try that Velocitor ammo and the other usual suspects.

Smile 50/100 target

Just to say Hi. New to this Forum.I am the convener for the rifle section of our local club.
We have a .22 shoot. 25 yds standing 30 sec at 6 light bulbs(on paper) one on each,(you can't shoot a light bulb twice)
50yds a rabit kill zone 5's elsewhere 2's (6 shots kneeling or sitting) 45 sec
75 prone shoot / no shoot target.(no shoot area, low right) one min.
100 yds Bench 4inch diamond with a house fly centred .inside the diamond 4's the fly 10.
two minutes.
It' s a good shoot and realy tests practicle accuracy.
Oh yes it's in Auckland, New Zealand
This is a great forum ,with many varied topics.

I might enter with my M1969 and open sights. I just shot a postal match with my Mosin M44 and, though we won't know the results until the end of this month, I found it to be a rewarding experience. I'll see what I can do at 50 yards in the next couple, few days.
