First .22 match in 9 years.....

Well it wasn't pretty last night. I shot my first 50 foot .22 pistol match and that bullseye is ALOT smaller than I remember.

I used to consistently shoot 270-280's without any problem. My high was a 286 on one lucky night. Last night after my long hiatus, I shot a 237

I learned several things too. I need to practice, practice, practice. It isn't like riding a bike. You can't just step up to the line and shoot well without consistent practice. Second, the triggers on the new Mark III's from Ruger are not well suited to competetive shooting. They are HEAVY. Time to look into some trigger work and buy lots of ammo for training.....

Good Luck. With practice the accuracy will come back.
