| What is a group?
I understand that it's how close your shots get to each other, but what does it mean when you say, for example, a one inch group? Does that mean that all the shots are within one inch apart? fit within a circle of radius one inch? a circle with diameter one inch? something else?

1" group just means the group is about an inch in size. I will be corrected if I'm wrong. But that's what it means to me. lol

| "One Inch Group" is the name of a fairly popular Bluegrass Band in southern Arkansas (as most folks know). I'm suprised at the question, I thought a lot more people knew who they were. |

It usually means that the centers of the farthest apart 2 shots are 1" apart center to center. The others hitting in- between. There are 3 shot groups,5 shot groups and more. Obviously the more shots that fall within the stated size the better.
