I use this exclusively. More accurate/destructive and cleaner than Wolf. Corrosive? Yes. Clean up when done shooting and you'll have no problems. Been using it for two years in my SKS, no problems, no duds or squibbs.

I have thought of some but my cz 527 shoots so well I would hate to ruin the gun, my fears probably have no base but I cant be to cautious... Dragunov, does a magnet stick to the case or bullet? If not I may give it a try.

338RUM it has brass cases and a lead core copper jacketed bullet. Scroll down on this link and they have the 1260 rd. cases @ $212.99 or $209.99 if you buy 2 cases. I didn't check to see how much their shpping is.
I would not worry too much about shooting corrosive ammo through a bolt rifle. Just flush the bore out with Windex after shooting and clean normally.
If it is shot through a semi make sure you clean up the gas tube (if it has one) and all internals thoroughly after shooting. Heck, ALL ammo used to be corrosive. WW1 and 2 were fought with corrosive ammo as were all wars before that that were fought with firearms.

And shouldn't that Windex be the kind that has ammonia as an ingredient in it because it's the ammonia that does what's needed?
And yes, please correct me if I'm wrong. I want you/someone to. I mean, I don't want to be giving the wrong info plus I'd like to know for sure myself.

Water dissolves the salts from the corrosive primers and the mild concentration of ammonia in Windex would be beneficial for removing any copper fouling.

Thanks for explaining. Or, would it be for clarifying? And truth be told, I think it's been done before. I just forget.
