mod 94 ' 50m

Here's my latest effort with my Winchester 94 in .357mag on the turning targets. Distance is 50m with 2 x 6 rounds with 3 second exposures.

Ok, forgive my lack of knowledge or terminology, 2X6 rounds? Also, what ammo did you use? Or is that what the 2X6 rounds description is? Again, forgive or rather excuse my lack of knowledge and lack of terminology.

Either whay wun, great shooting. Also, what were/was the weather conditions at the time?

Sorry must be clearer, we had to shoot two strings of shots, each string was 6 rounds; that's why there are 12 shots on the target.

Ammo was my home loads 158gn JSWC, .357 mag.

Weather was beautiful sunny Scottish day, shooting in old sand quarry so no wind to worry about.

I used a '94, .45 Colt, for about 8 years and shot fine with it. I now have a '73 rifle, W-W clone, that was slicked up when I bought it. If you get the chance try a '73. They have the reputation of being the slickest, fastest of the leveractions, I believe it.
BTW, does your '94 have a Buckhorn rear sight? They work very similar to a peep sight. They really increase your speed too.

Standard sight is a Buckhorn and that is what I use for rapid fire but I also have a Lyman peep sight on the tang.

The Lyman peep is a great precision sight. I took many deer with that '94. I wish I had kept it just for hunting. They are great carry guns, much easier to tote than an assualt rifle.
