Just sent in my application

I just sent in my C&R application (05/12/07) and the required copy to my local Police Chief with the payment coming from my debit card.
Looking forward to picking up some additional pals for my current collection without having to wait so long and paying the Kalifornia background check fee... Will post on the length of the wait for the card.

Thanks Billy, I think I have an idea!
Problem is friggin' Commiefornia wanting their extortion money bringing in toys from other states where the prices are great... My $109 Pa63 ended up costing $245 to get it into the collection... But there are good pieces out there I"m taking advantage of!

on the bright side ,i sent a signed copy to any place that caught my eye in the shotgunnews and a lot of places will give you dealer discounts on ammo, accessories ,powder, bullets etc. and or breaks on shipping. i must have sent out 25 or 30 copies and am still getting catalogs from places i forgot about! the mailman hates me

go nuts! send em to everybody. it cant hurt.

oh yeah compose a form letter asking about dealer discounts, coupons catalogs etc.

Isn't the PA 63 a pistol? You won't be able to get pistols in CA on the C&R. There are lots of rifles out there though. Have fun!

I didn't even think about Commiefornia forbidding old pistols from being brought in with a C&R... Kinda thought I'd be getting all the cool CZ handguns without all the fees.... Dang I gotta move. Looks like I'll be researching long guns now! Not sure if it'll work in the pawn shops, I'll make some calls Saturday and post results.
