Wrong form?

Hi all. Looks like I sent an older version of the C&R license application that I downloaded from internet with my $30 check. I see the NRA has an updated one. Does not look good for me does it.

I think what you may have downloaded was the form to request the applicaon, if that is the case you should recieve a packet with n application on green paper and is about 6 or 8 pages long. the first i for you to send to the ATF and the other is a copy for you to give to your cheif of police, or sharrif if you dont have local PD. so hopefully they will return your check with your application.

I would say you are going to get a letter asking you to fill out the new form, send a copy to your CLEO and fill out the goofy resident alien form thing. Will likely add a month or so to your time frame - depending upon your response time.

It is my understanding that you can not longer download the form from the internet. I was directed to the ATF Distribution Form Center. The directions are easy and they will mail you the correct forms ( about 2 days ) Good Luck

Don't sweat it. I sent the form in one time with one of the wrong boxes checked and they sent it back to me with it highlighted and and a chance to correct it.
