Mine showed up in today's mail. Just the license; no books and no record forms. No visit from the Industry Operations Investigator, either. I've already scanned it into my computer so I print copies to enclose when I place an order or win an auction. It only took them 3 months and a bit.

I wonder if my calling them and pointing out that as I already had a NY pistol permit, my background's already been checked thru the FBI and passed as OK, had anything to do with it?

Yeah, bet it was a month before mine came....There is some useful info in some of the material you get and is good to keep on hand...and then again, there is plenty of "I need a lawyer as a interpreter" stuff.... Congrats and have fun...

The C&R is sure worth it. A friendly dealer at my first gun show a few years ago told me to do that and have been grateful ever since. I have 2 Mosins, and Enfield and a Yugo Mauser. Plus a ton of ammo; any one in central Florida want to go shooting?
