| My C&R renewal arrived today! Sent the check on 3/20, here it is today. Pretty good turnaround. Did not have to call and nag them at all. Now to have lots of copies made before I sign the original. My distribution list is saved as a Word document. I'll also scan it for those places that will accept an e-mailed version. In other events, my check to the Garand Collector's Association cleared, so I'm in there. Coupled with my 03 I now meet the requirements to sign up with CMP. Now to check their website and see if those M1s are still available. Might have to change my handle to "Moreorlesscheapblaster". ![]() |

| Congrats on the renewal! But don't change your handle just yet! Those M1s are not cheap to buy but there is still cheap ammo available for them out there! So, you are still blasting cheap!

| Do you have to have a C&R in order to buy from CMP? |

| I sent mine in back in Feb, still haven't heard anything. Is there a number I can call to check the status?

| The general number for the licensing center in Atlanta is 866-662-2750. Haven't called there in years so I don't know what kind of phone tree you'll get into. What you want is the name and extension of the person who processes applications from your state. When I first applied I called that person, got through to her. 20 minutes later got a call back saying I was approved. Your results may vary, but it can't hurt to call. |
