| Senior Member | It finally arrived today!!!! So finally after about 9 weeks, it came in the mail today. So if I am correct, I am NOT to sign the original...make a few dozen copies and sign them as I send them out. I think there is a list of a who's who to send it to somewhere in a thread here...unless someone re posts it, I will look for it. Also, is there a cover letter I need to send along with it? And I assume that the info packet will arrive shortly from the ATF right? Does anyone accept faxes of the license, or should I just mail them all. Just let me know what I should do...I've been saving $$$ for a few months now and it's burning a hole in my pocket so to speak. Thanks for any helpful info.

| Correct on signing only the copies. The signature has to be in colored ink so they know it is not a fax or photocopy, most places tell you to use red for your Sig. A few places used to let me send them faxes, but I think that has gone the way of ordering a pistol from the Sears catalogue. They will keep it on file, so once you order from them once you should be good! The guys at the store will be able to answer weather or not is has to be mailed...but you can assume so. I send a cover letter with mine just so they know what it is and whatever, just good form in my opinion. Nothing fancy with mine though, just a little blurb about how I look foreward to doing business with them, and what order this is in reference to.

| Some do I believe, but it primarily means you can now have C&R items shipped directly to you, at your address, rather then pay for an FFL to handle the transaction and pay any other fees. It comes direct to you. And from what I've read, some places do offer special pricing on some items. Congratulations.... There was a few really great links on how it all works. If you search it here, you can find it. I don't remember who it was, but they put some really informative links for C&R. I think it was Marion... But yea, look for that thread/post. If I find it I'll link it here for you... I didn't find the thread here but I'd bookmarked one of the links it had and I thought it was worth bookmarking for my own future use... http://www.cruffler.com/becomingcruffler.html

| Congratulations! I got mine this week also, but it only took mine less than 4 weeks. Don't spend all of your money in one place. ![]() |
