| Gewher 41 value? Hi all I have a friend at work whose dad died and left him a (numbers matching) genuine Gewher 41 (prototype to the G43) Does anyone have any idea on what this C&R rifle would bring at auction/private sale?? |

| Is it full-auto? If it is, it's most likely illegal as hell and would be immediately confiscated and destroyed, war souvenier/heirloom or not. His best bet would be to keep that thing VERY hush-hush.

| I will have to ask him; to be honest, I thought that the bolt action on this particular weapon is a bit confusing...(as opposed to the "slide") It is a semi auto, as it was a lead-up to the G43... Either way, I think it would gain Curio and/or Relic status.....also, it's kind of neat to know that you own a little bit of history ![]() |

The M1 Carbine was semi-auto, and the M2 Carbine was selective. I've heard it's even highly illegal to have ANY M2 parts in a semi-auto M1. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has no sense of humor about the matter.
