FFL 01...? Don't know where else to post this one

Hey all, with everything going on I have been seriously looking at getting an FFL 01. I have the C&R, but I feel like (despite the extra work involved) I would have more freedoms with selling, trading, buying and making some money from it. Do any of you have one or know much about them? Don't have the $200 cash for the license, but I could sell one of my beauties (303) and get what I needed to get one. Comments, suggestions, hints, anything you all might have would be appreciated. I apologize if this is not the right place for this thread.

I thought about it once. But getting a place of address for the business would be a problem. I would not want it to be my house. It would be like putting a big sign out front saying burglarize me! I have guns here.

There is alot of misinformation on what is required to be an FFL. I think there are websites that specialize in walking you through the process.

I believe there is a "storefront address" requirement now so you'll need a retail space.

I am seeking my FFL01 too and there is no "store front" requirement, however you have to also go by local restrictions also so this is where some of the confusion comes in, many of the FFL's around here are personal businesses and many gunsmith FFL01's are home business, this is a license that is reapplied for by current standards.
You should have a business license already in order.
You should contact your local BATF field officer for more local expectations.
Make sure that there are no local restrictions as far zoning is concerned "City Hall" and or CLEO.
And when asked are you going to sell guns as a business your answer of course is yes.

There is a lot of misinformation, I feel that this is some peoples way of restricting the market and protecting the market, this has become sort of a new way of ensuring your competition is limited..
if you want to compete in my opinion, give better customer service and try not to retire off every gun sale and offer other services..
as far as advertising ."I have guns", the local schmucks that think that way if they are near you they will think the same with a C&R or any constant long boxes showing up to your door or watching you in any other way,....
another reason I can't stand the liberal movement, the whole reason why many of these losers are out and about is because someone keeps opening the door for these guys and gals when they have proven the are dirt bags,...but luckily these fools are lazy and getting shot is not exactly on their agenda...most likely they are going to go to the unarmed elderly couple next door and do as they please with them.
I love people but some are not worth the hollow point it takes to send them to judgement!
