CZ75B Ejection problems

I recently picked up a 75B in .40 S&W. Soon after I got it I bought some el-cheapo federal FMJ ammo and had a blast at the range. No problems. Today I was going to the range and stopped off to pick up some more ammo and got Remington FMJ. I put 50 rounds through it but at least 1 in 10 (more like 2 in 10) would not eject. It would jam open after the shot and I would have to eject the mag, and manually cycle the action. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any thoughts on what it could be? Thanks!!

I just had the same problem with a CZ 75 Compact 40 S&W. I had around 650 rounds thru it with no problems then this happened. Found some crud in the chamber so check the chamber. Seems like something holding the fired case in the chamber, also check the extractor for crud under it and that it is not damaged and operates properly.
Hope this helps.

Well, I got a new extractor spring on the suggestion of some other boards and got it put in. Took it to the range and put about 100 rounds through it flawlessly. Last time I went, it jammed on the first shot and I put it aside. I'm liking this pistol a lot now

CZ pistol seem to have a very good rep and are just behind the 1911 platform for being copied.

CZ75B

There is somekind of qurk with the CZ75B's in .40 cal.
some of them have weak extracter springs. It's the only model that this has showed up in. The cure is replace the spring.
If anyone is in the houston area, I've got three springs for the CZ75B in 40 cal. it takes about a minute to change it.
