| Sight adjustment on a CZ52 I just bought 360 rounds of ammo for my CZ52. I've had the gun about a year, but haven't shot it much. I took it out after getting the ammo and found that the pistol shot low and left. I drifted the rear sight over and got it centered (on target), but it shoots really low. I have to put the front sight up on top of the rear sight (so that I can barely see the top of the barrel where the front site attaches in order to get it centered on target at about 20 yards. The rear sight needs to go up about 3/16". Anyone had this type of problem? What was your solution. It's a fine weapon that works well, just shoots low. Personally I hate the way you have to remove the magazine. I wonder how many guys at war have been shot while they were trying to get the mag out. Thanks for the info. Dave ![]() |

| I was shooting my CZ52 yesterday, and have the same problem with elevation. Yep, the rear sight needs to be a bit higher. The same thing can be done by lowering the front sight, but it's already pretty low. Maybe could be filed down just a bit? I do have a few spare Colt 1911 rear sights, but the dovetail width is different.

| my only comlaint withthe cz52 is its sights. I pained mine so they were more visible and it helped. I would like to put a good set of adjustable sights on my shooter.
