| J&G's CZ 82
Should be on its way to me soon I hope. Hopefully everything will go smoothly, and I will be shipped a great weapon. I chose the hand select, and made a request. Hopefully someone on the other end will do their damndest. Looking forward to its arrival. I also have some ammo coming soon as well, maybe they show up the same day. That would be sweet. I read the reviews, and they all looked pretty good, so hopefully all will go well. Anyone else have one of these guns, or have dealt with J&G and have any feedback, I'd be interested.

I bought my FEG Model AP-MBP from them. They were courteous on the phone and shipped promptly, with adequate packaging. The pistol was a jewel, as promised. However, they weren't helpful after I got it and discovered that the one magazine they had sent with it was so stiff I could not load it without a major struggle. They would not exchange it. Nor is J&G good about having a stock of magazines so you can buy more than one when you buy your pistol. If the pistol does not come as-purchased with more than one magazine, you're SOL with them. I ended up buying additional MBP magazines from Centerfire Systems, and got good ones at a good price. If you need or want extra mags for your CZ-82, you might check them out. |

Hey thanks for the info. I got an email telling me they have it shipped today. So hopefully the shipping will be fast as I am excited and awaiting its arrival.

I purchased my AP-MBP from J&G and found them to handle the transaction and shipping just fine. My brother purchased a P-64 and had a similarly good experience. As for the stiff mag problem, these are surplus mags and need to be thoroughly cleaned. I had the same problem. I suspect the mags were never cleaned by the previous owners. I purchased 2 extra mags with the AP. One was so filthy I couldn't load it. The other two are just fine. I ordered a CZ-82 from SOG am expecting it to be delivered Monday. It is going to be a long Monday at work. Enjoy your pistols. I really like the recoil of the AP. It's a sweet shooter, just needs some day glow on the sights. Hard to see the sight picture at the range when shooting at a black target. Did you replace the recol and hammer springs? i did and it made the DA very easy to use. I ordered the ehaviest recoil and lightest hammer springs wolf offered. Will do the same for my 82 when it arrives. |

Hey guys I got this sucker a couple weeks ago and didn't like the finish on it. I couldn't use the blue remover to get rid of the finish that was on it so I just sanded it and wire wheeled it all off and its a polished steel gun now. Looks good with the black grips on it. I'll have to post pics when I can find the camera.....

I don't know somewhere in the Czech Firearms forum I think. But I will post another here too. Still looking for a slide release spring. Hard to find. I have 3 places I am going to try calling tomorrow. It was suggested to order a spring piece of metal and make my own. It may come down to it. CZ USA hasn't returned my email yet. So I don't know if they would be able to help or not.

I'm shooting Hornady Custom hollow points which happen to be the most acurate cartridge I've tried. Winchester which I guess is S&B shoots better than Federal's in my CZ 82. Iron Colonel CZ83 parts will work on our CZ82's if we can't find 82 parts. Hope I never have to work on mine though. Did you get a Spring ???
