CZ52 Slide lock spring

I have a 53 model CZ52 and the slide lock spring keep coming off the top of the slide release and when a loaded mag is inserted and the slide pulled back the slide lock won't jump down to release the slide. I have had the weapon field stripped and I see the problem but the spring also acts as a detent for the safety. Can anyone give me advice in how to replace the spring the easiest way? Is a complete disassemble required to replace the spring?

you are going to have to take it apart
no biggie.
ya just have to peen the pins when you put it back together.
post what your doing
