| CZ-82 Dry Fire I recently purchased a cz-82 (Dan's Ammo - highly recommended) and want to know whether it is safe to dry fire it. I noticed in an exploded view of the pistol that the firing pin is spring dampened. I thought that it would be safe to dry fire because of this configuration. Any facts or opinions? I know the cz-52 shouldn't be dry fired (brittle firing pin with no spring dampening) unless the harrington firing pin upgrade (Makarov.com) is installed. Thanks in advance! |

| Be safe make a snap-cap.Take an empty shell with the primer removed,cut the eraser off a new pencil,trim the eraser to fit the primer pocket "pretty tight",trim the eraser flush with the shell head.Safe dry-fire! |

| I've dryd fired mine quiet a bit with out any problems and too I shot a 100 rounds through it today with out a problem...A.H |

| I don't know about the 82, but I broke a firing pin dry firing my 75. I didn't have a manual, and figured it was like my other semi autos.
