Cz-82

I am considering geting a C&R and ording a CZ-82 from JG Sales. My questions are as follows.

1. Is this a good handgun for targt shooting and the ocasianal walk in the woods for nussiance animals that somtimes pop up?

2. The cailber is the 9x18 Makov, can i safley shoot 9mm Luger's and 380 acp's through it?

3. is it worth adding the 10 dollars for hand select?

I just bought one and they are awesome. Shot it for the first time yesterday and it is dead on accurate. J&G is charging too much and their shipping is too much. I got mine from aimsurplus.com and paid around $230 out the door and it is in great shape. You can only shoot 9X18 out of it, but it is a hot little round, between a .380 and a 9X19. If you get the higher grain rounds it really packs a punch.

I called classic and they want $50 for shipping!! I used American Eagle, but those will eat up anything you throw at them. For self defense I am going to order Hornaday Tap and for target shooting Wolf is fine.

Wow, $50 for shipping! That is ridiculous. If I have any money left after the gun show this weekend, I guess I will get one of these from AIM. You guys have just about talked me into it!

I just got my CZ82 today at the local gun shop!!!
It looks very good; not brand new but I didn't expect it to be but it's close, very close. I am well pleased with it and look forward to being able to shoot it soon. Maybe Mon or Tues if things work out. I'll keep you posted.
