I'm in Ga. now but grew up in Vermilion. I like a white Christmas but I'm not very fond of that below 0 without the wind part. I will always consider S. Dak. home, great faces great places and great friends there.

Anybody ever do any paddle fishing? I don't know of any place other than S. Dak. that you can do that unless you go to the Yang Sing River in China. I don't think the rest of the country knows what a paddle fish looks like.

Welcome aboard. The more the better, there is strength in numbers. As soon as my nephew gets on line I'll recruit him, he is in Vermilion and a hunter.

Vermillion S.D.

Hickorynutk@win, I too lived in Vermillion (1965-1972) Went to a one room school house out in the country. I have a sister in Milbank and a nephew in Water Town so I get up there once a year or so. I'm now in Illinois, they complain when they get an inch of snow, I just laugh. Last week we had about six inches of snow, the roads were kind of bad so I was taking it easy driving home from work eventhough I still drive a 4X4. I see a car comming up behind me and I thought, what a dumb a$$ he will run off into the ditch and I will pull him out for $50.00. As he drove past I saw that he had South Dakota plates on his car, I just laughed as he went by!!! No extra money for me that day.

We later mover to North Dakota, my parents live in Fargo.

Yellowstone River in a part of Wyoming, my buddy went there when he was in the 8th grade. I think he was up in Montana though. Paddlefish look just too weird.
