Accuracy load for LR-308T

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had a favorite accuracy load for a DPMS LR-308T. I recently bought one and havent had time to work up a load for it yet.

Well, I don't know your powders.
But for me 42.-43 gr of anything will suffice.
I'm shooting 42-42.5 gr of TAC, AR Comp, RE-15, Varget, 46gr of BLC[2].
This works for 147-165gr projectiles.

Welcome to G&G.

I have a couple "accuracy" loads for my Armalite AR10. Mine has a 20" barrel. These all shoot under 1 MOA.

Load 1) Golden West Metallic Industries 150 grain FMJ, Accurate 2460 powder - 43.0 grains, Lake City brass, CCI#200 primer, Case trimmed to 2.005", COAL 2.750, Lee Factory Crimp Die 3/4 turn

Load 2) Remington 165 grain PSPCL bullet, Accurate 2460 powder - 40.5 grains, Lake City brass, CCI#200 primer, Case trimmed to 2.005", COAL 2.750"

Load 3) Sierra Match King 175 grain HPBT bullet, Reloader 15 powder - 41.0 grains, Winchester brass, CCI#200 primer, Case trimmed to 2.005", COAL 2.800"

DISCLAIMER These loads are safe in my AR10. They may or may not be safe in your gun.

Hunting Load

I use the 165 gr ballistic tip by Nosler at 2600 fps it slow enough that it want explode if it hits a pine straw,But fast enough to get the job done. I have been using this load for years, and supply a host of friends and have had no complaints .
