JACK, DO YOU STILL HAVE THE LR308? How does it shoot? Have you used it for hunting? have you done any long range work with it?
It looks good, is it the B model? Done any mods on it?

Panther Classic 20". Bought it just before the winter really set in here in SD...and have only put two magazines worth of ammo through it...still waiting on the warm weather to settle in to really play with it..

Panther classic 20 as well. Went to the local shop and had it ordered right before the election so the price wasn't quite as high. Haven't put many rounds through it but seems to shoot great, sighted in and ended up getting one coyote with it, a little over 200yrds out. See what I can do with it when they prairie dogs start coming back up. Seen some just the other day it's about that time.

As a matter of fact, I bought it at Scheels in Iowa. Shot a couple hundred rounds this afternoon. It really works great and is damn accurate. I'd actually like to take the scope off and put iron sights or red dot sight on and get off the bench with it. Or, maybe I should buy another gun and rig it up like that. At least that's the way my mind works. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.
