I said, sure now that I bought one they are 100 bucks cheaper. Salesman asked when I bought it and I ended up getting a $100. refund. That was a nice surprise! Good thing I said something.

I'm also gonna try this Sightmark reflex sight w/ a laser pointer. Hope it works out. The price was right. We'll see. Anyone else try one of these sights?

DPMS Panther Bull Special 24" .223 with Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40, crappy weather is keeping me from running a few rounds thru her at the range, looking to also add a few goodies, sling, forward handle and that will prolly be all til something catches my eye, also thinking about a 7.62x39 upper to add at some point.

The one on the left has a DPMS 6.8 SPC upper. I've since swapped out the hand guard, pistol grip, and stock for green Magpul MOE gear, and it also has a Millet DMS-1 scope on it. I'll get the updated pick up at some point.

| ... part of the DPMS family ! Here is my LR 308 Sportical pictured with my 5.56 PWA Commando.
I added the rail below the handguard for the pending arrival of a vertical grip, have GG&G flip-up sights inbound and am considering a Uni Max Laser UniMax Rail Mount Laser Sight for quick acquisition with the sights.

I bought mine as a "pre-election" present to myself. I'd be more prone to say "No, you can't have it back!" than "Can I have one please?" It's a .308 with the heavy 24" stainless barrel. Mounted a Government Model Springfield 6x20x56 mil dot scope on it, and it sings real pretty!! Love it! I get lots of looks at the range when I bring this out. The M1 and the M1A are slowly getting over being jealous. “When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat.” |

Currently only DPMS is an LR308, Hogue grip, target trigger, A3 upper, fluted croy'd barrel, Ace tube stock, picatinney gas block, IOR Valada IR 3/9. Just sold A4 to buy Sig 556 swat patrol with EOTech.

I got a rock bottom stock Panther Lite 16 last year. I did later change the handguard and rear sight blade, and put on that "thingamajig" from Brownells so I could mount a one point sling. So far, no complaints at all.

It is fate, why did I open this thread? I saw a .308 Sportical at my local gun shop for 939.00 today, It called out to me 'buy me'. I want one bad now. Are they accurate? Is it 7.62/.308?
Larry O, how do you like yours? $200.00 puts it on 90 day layaway. Sweet dreams tonight!
