Pic Of My New DPMS LR-308

I picked up some better loads today, a rifle case, a ten round mag (DPMS) and a bi pod. With my straight across trade for this rifle for my Winchester 94, my total investment for this rifle, scope, case, bi pod, two clips and 1100 rounds of ammo is 14 year investment of 200 dollars (what I gave for the Winchester) and 209 dollars today for the extra ammo, 10 round clip and accessories.

I would say I came out OK with my 400 dollar investment.

I am anxious to take this out and sight in the scope.

I hope that guy likes his beat up old Winchester as much as I love my Gun Of The Year!

Very nice. Congrats.

I'd love to someday get an AR style rifle in .308.

It makes a nice compliment to some other black bullet throwers I already have.

WOW, how you must like cleaning guns in your free time. Are all your babies in 223 or have you gotten something from another planet? I sold my SP1 a year ago to my father in law. I bet it's gone up in value now.

The AR's in the group picture are all .223

I have yet to go out and shoot the .308

Looking forward to it

I assume with the larger caliber and longer floating barrel, the distances I can be accurate is about twice that of my .223's

I need to acquire a shooting bench

Thanks, I am working on a larger group photograph!

I took the .308 home today to try to get off a few rounds and the phone rang again so it was back to work. Hard to get time off.

Will I ever get to shot this? lol
