Nice collection SNO4MKI, that sporter, is it a Santa Fe? Is it a MKI or a MKI*. I take it you like the Savage -Stevens rifle.

I was able to accurately shoot out to 250 yards on my first range trip shooting Pakistani ammo... which surprised the hell out of me.
I would be shocked if Packy ammo even hit close to the target for me. Love the pith helmet.

The sporter is not a Santa Fe; however, it is a No4 MkI (two digit s/n). It is one of two projects I have planned for the future.

I am an equal opportunity No4 collector/shooter; however, I am partial to my Savage No4's.

Below are some more of my girls:

'41 LB (project #2)
'42 LB (FTR '46)
'42 LB
'44 LB (I/3)
'49 LB
'50 LB

'55 PF Still in wrap
'55 PF Unissued
'53 PF

I inherted this from my FIL. It was his primary hunting rig. I did add the scope and the bipod but other than that it is the way I received it.

The Big Brown truck is suppose to be stopping by tomorrow with my new addition. It does not compare to what you guys have been posting, but I will post a few pics once it arrives.

They all look as if they belong in a furniture store. I bet the wood just warms right up to your cheek.
