Any reliable source for cheap .303?

I've looked everywhere, and aside from some expensive 50's production RG at JGSales, nothing really seems affordable.

I used to buy loads of PPU .303 ball, but it seems sold out everywhere. I sincerely hope they haven't stopped producing it as it was great affordable ammo.

Thanks all.

The surplus is really getting hard to find and quite expensive. Here is a link for some new, reloadable Prvi Partizan @ $13.95 per 20 rounds or $12.00 per 20 rounds if you buy 1000 rounds. (if the ad is current) Haven't ever ordered from these people but am thinking about checking them out.

Prvi Partizan .303 British

I bought five boxes of Radway Green surplus brass from here
.303 British 32rd Box 1950's Mfr Radway Green - $25.00 : Buymilsurp.com, Your source for military surplus.
It is in pretty good shape but a couple of the rounds did have a bit of corrosion on the cases but nothing to bad. I have not shoot any of it yet but from what I have heard the British manufactured surplus is pretty good but stay away from the other stuff. I think it was Pakistani?

Make it for .50 a shot with cheap 150g bullets or .75 ea. for 174g fmjbt match grade. Depending on the brass you can get 5 to 10 reloads per case. 150g
sierra .311" gamekings are way cool out past 300 yards+.

Nothing could be worse than coridite and murcuric primers for your old war horse.

I've managed to stock up on South African non corrosive. Almost a thousand rounds sealed and stored, but it won't last forever. I'm taking 200 rounds to a shoot today.

Priv brass well reload 6-8 times with a little care. Primers were hard to come by a year ago but it's better now.

If there is a fed law banning lead bullets that well suck. Most of the ranges around here have banned steel core.

diligent, and prompt cleaning will take care of it. but if one is a shoot and forget sort, then go with commercial ammo.

Is why I reload them. Ain't seen cheap .303 since the supply of that Pakistani click-bang stuff dried up.

Yes, whenever I shoot any surplus ammo I always clean right afterwards.

ClassicArms has a much better deal on the British RG .303 surplus; $140 for 288rds as opposed to $180 for the same on JGsales.

Ouch - 50 rounds for $40. Wasn't Kirkee an Indian arsenal? I saw one of those 200-round cans for sale at a gun show last weekend for $109 plus tax - got snapped up by someone very quickly. Makes the Kynoch stuff I have been selling look cheap lol.

DesertRaider109:
The only reason I ever bought (Lee) reloading gear was to have extra ammo for my Lee-Enfields.
Despite having found over 2,000 rds. of surplus, mostly in early '09, all of that will stay in ammo cans for years.

Prvi Partizan for simple reload gear is much better value (.60/rd.) than non-reloadable corrosive ammo which is now about the same price as Prvi. Some of my surplus is really classy 'click-bang' or 'FTF' the first click.

If their ammo plants in Serbia now comply with the highest safety standards, there should be a steady supply coming into the US.
