CMP 1917s?

Has any purchased one of the 1917s that the CMP has been selling? I haven't heard to many good things about them, bad head space, horrible barrels and the like. Is it true or is it sour grapes?

I haven't. I have heard some of the same things though. I don't know. Head space on the Enfields can be a bit loose, but still be safe. If you want one, they are great rifles. I see them at gunshows quite a bit.
