Savage marked sling ?

I have heard yes and no on this subject. I always thought they were ..... The markings are much better then the pic shows

Thats a Canadian "C arrow" before the "S1943"
Not sure of the "S" , it could signify that it was intended to ship to Savage but normally there would be a manufacture code and the date.

Found that this was Savage

made sling. Canadian property marked maybe due to ending up in Canada.
