| New Barrel Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk1
Thanks fellows for the words of advice - much appreciated! Looks like it might be more than I should attempt to take on without hiring some expensive smith work done. It is all original so far as I know. It has a rear Lyman peep sight, but I believe I have the original in a Ziploc stored in my shed. The rifle body is covered in black paint and I'm not too sure about that being original. Anyone know? I thought I would resurrect it to it's former accuracy but it sounds like it is worth far more as is. Besides, the money spent in doing so could just as well go toward a new rifle meant to be accurate from the get-go. Dad also recieved a Smith-Corona Model 03-A3 30/06 (looks exactly like the Springfield 03-A3) and a 1911 ACP .45 along with that NRA shipment (before Oswald messed that up) and I've kept them all original. Any guesses as to what those are worth?
