Your rifle is an Enfield, No. 4 Mk II built in May of 1950 at the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley.

.303 should be swaged

If you do not know how to do this, have a gunsmith run a swage through the barrel to get a measure of the bore diameter. In the rush to manufacture rifles both during the war and sometimes after the war, bore diameters were acceptable to .311. This lead to phenominally
inacurrate rifles even though the .303 was a good cartridge.

Every last one i have ever owned or fired that belonged to someone else all without exeption never suffered from accuracy problems, infact they all shot very well.

The only thing wrong with SMLE no1 and no4 is the action isnt very strong and holds it back a bit.The no3 is much stronger and the full potential of the 303 can be used.
