shoping for woods

Its finally time to go shopping ......
I mentioned in a previous post that my .308 2a Ishy's wood is trashed. I would like to try to find wood instead of synthetic. I am under the impression that a No.1 mkIII stock set will work? any advice will be great. I found some info on bedding stock...has anyone tried this?

Have you tried ebay? I just picked up a nice forearm and handgaurds for my #4 Mk1 from a seller named "dodge77vashti". He seems to have access to Ishapore stocks in great condition. Very prompt, and great packaging too. I highly recommend him.
