1943 Savage marked sling

Had this one for awhile. It is the 3rd or 4th one I have come across but alas I just sold it. I am having surgery this coming month and have to sell some stuff. Oh well easy come, easy go I guess!

I just bought these at Sportsmans Guide for $9.95 each. They are listed as original Enfield slings. They are not marked. I checked. Darn it anyway. But not a bad deal if you want original slings.

IMA-USA

International military antiques also has some with various stamps/ dates. I have done buisness with these guys before and everything I have ever purchased from them is exactly as described.

I ordered a new sling and the cleaning pull through correct for my rifle thorugh them, they shipped on Monday and I am anxiously awaiting them and will post pics and the like when they get here... ifI can figure out the whole posting pictures thing...

Bought some stuff from IMA and was not happy

poor customer service and they also removed my semi negative review of one of their products, shady thing to do. Wasn't really negative but it was not made correctly and I put that in the review. I asked for two replacements and they would not send them unless I paid to return them if they were not correct. I already paid once for the 1st return. Out of all the companies I have dealt with never had to pay return shipping for a poorly made item. Always got 100% customer satisfaction from the others and IMA before but not this time.

Also bought a repro type 99 sling that is not for a type 99 rifle but for a Chech mauser, I posted questions about it on another forum and found that out.

I am now banned from buying from them as per the owner, well he said he was the owner anyhow. He didn't like that I was unhappy with him and his company.

Hmmm...

Interesting, I have never really had to send anything back to them, i have purchased a U.S. WWII Haversack, a few pinapple grenades (demilled of course), and a WWII Musette bag from them and they came as described and fairly quickly, so no real need to send them back so have had no real interaction with thier CS...

Sounds like a jerk I used to work for. He sold computer and printer parts and he always did that to anyone who didnt like his crappy company and service.
