| No4 Mk1 Barrel?
I need a replacement two groove No4 Mk1 barrel in very good condition - anyone know of potential sources? I have an inquiry sent to NUMRICH, and Northridge is out of ALL No4 Mk1 barrels & will not be getting any more according to their e-mail. Any other suppliers out there in USA?

Got a reply message back from NUMRICH late yesterday [too late to return call] saying they had sorted out a .303 two groove barrel fitting my description/request and to please call "so and so" there ASAP as he was "holding it" for me. I've bought a lot of "vintage" and milsurp restoration parts from them in the past w/excellent service. I'll be on the phone to them early Monday AM - and post results if it indeed turns out well! as I've heard from several other Enfield owners in same sitaution and looking for Enfiel barrels.

Good for you. Let us know how it works out. I've only dealt with them a time or two but was well pleased. I think you caught a heck of a break finding one at all!

| Over a barrel.....
A barrel was shipped to me from NUMRICH yesterday - sales guy insisted it matches my requested criteria. If I don't agree I can ship it back for full refund - can't ask for more than that. I'll post a followup note as to what I actually do get!!

Received a really excellent condition "two groove" No4 Mk1 barrel from NUMRICH GUNPARTS this afternoon. Immediately pulled a few Hoppes #9 soaked patches through it, drew a deep breath and took a peek - Holy cow batman thats a beautiful bright shiny bore!!! Looks brand new. Very sharp rifling right out to perfect crown - no corrosion of any kind, couldn't be happier! What a relief -

I am glad you found one, I also found some on the I.O. inc website, for future reference of anyone trying to find some: http://ioinc.us/mm5/merchant.mvc?Scr...y_Code=Barrels

| No4Mk1 Barrel
FWIW: Received a good recomendation for an Enfield experienced 'smith in Idaho from another Enfield collector, so sent him the parts yesterday. $75.00 plus postage to change out barrel, and "headspace" seemed a fair price. Original barrel turned out to have had much more serious corrosion/pitting issues than I had thought - am really looking forward to shooting the old girl with that new barrel installed!!
