My new no1 mk. ??? with mag cutoff, I'll take some pics when I get it.

I'll take more overall pics outside once i get all this damnabel copper wire off it.

other than the wire the bore is in decent cond. it has the mag cut off and is in overall good condition.

i dont know much about enfields.. why would tere be that wire on there?

Wolfe is correct! The wire wrapping is on there to facilitate grenade launching. It is a heavier rifle.

Very beautiful rifle there Zephri!!

Thanks guys, although I took the wire off as it would only be an hamperance to the cleaning and maintenance of the rifle, and in the long run being able to accesses the barrel and other parts will prolong the life of this rifle.
