Ishapore 2A/1 questions

I have one of these on order but I had a few questions first.

First, does it load with just any .308 stripper clip, such as those made to load M-14 mags here? And I expect .303 stripper clips for a normal Lee-Enfield are right out?

Also, is disassembly similar to a SMLE Mk. III, as it seems to be based off it, although not a conversion? Anything I should look out for? Thanks.

Ive never used a stripper clip when shooting mine, I usually just load it up 1 round at a time.

and I used this guide to dissassemble mine.

Hey, shouldn't your name be HungarianPistol?

Thanks, so disassembly is exactly the same as a Mk. III, aside from slight shape differences? Yeah you can load them by hand, but I would like to try clips, even if it takes 2.4 clips to load a 2A.

as far as disassembly goes for the 2A, I followed the guide step by step and didnt not have a single hangup or problem.

Nice looking Ishy Timber! I had one but like a dummy, got rid of it. It was a really accurate, fun to shoot rifle. If you dont mind, what did you have to give for it?

I paid twice what you'd find them for in the states.
In Canada they're actually rare.
All matching from butt to nosecap
Luan Mahogany stocks

rounded nosecap

I paid $100 for mine about 4 years ago or so. Then I traded it towards an SKS. I like the SKS but wish I'd kept the Ishy too.
