Does anyone know the proper way to use the .303 Enfield stripper clips? Sometimes they work smooth as butter and other times I can't get them to work at all. Pictures and video would be nice if you can, but any information would be good.
Great reference!!! I had to laugh out loud at myself when I read this:
"The best method of loading the charger is the "one up, one down" method... When loading loose rounds into the Lee Enfield, make sure that each round has it's rim ahead of the last. This will prevent the rims from catching each other and causing a jam."
I just reloaded all my stripper clips yesterday. I wasted a lot of time trying to get those damn rims to lay flat against the back of the clip. Duh!!!

Having grown up with the Lee Enfield and used them since about age 13 in the cadets, you tend to forget that not everyone is aware of the correct way to load the charger.
Every day is a skool day!
Stripper clips look like the best way to go. I've seen many articles that say changing mags is a waiste of time. The rifles were made so that they can be recharged quickly with the strippers and it's cheaper to give a soldier a bandalier of clips rather than magazines.
Great note on how to load those things, so ok, next question. Where can I get stripper clips. Never see them, or have missed seeing them in Sarco ads. Any help will be appreciated, as I can't find extra No4. mkII mags. They all will not interchange.
Thanks

Taking some fine steel wool with some oil and rubbing , lightly , inside the charger will help for a smooth load.
Chargers are great for hunting as well.
Well they do have an area called the pit, where anything goes. But you can't put a target in it. But you can throw crap like washing machines and stuff in it. It's pretty fun to just let go, especially with guns like my AK with a thirty round mag. The ranges near me are few and far between. Too close to Chicago and Daley's gun grabbing goons.
