Hi Guys.
Back in the 70`s in Rhodesia I had the privelage of having two gentlemen (and believe me they were gentlemen. Of the old school.) serving with me .One of them started off WW11 in the Welsh Guards and after Dunkirk wound up in the Scots Guards (I kid you not and how it happened caused much mirth.)The Other served in the German Army as you can well imagin the conversation was often pithy and ribald. The point being that when the Guardsman started to "play" with the SMLE and No 4`s(held in reserve) Old Lota would put his hands in his pockets and mutter something about cheating. So having never seen or used a k31 I lean towards the 303. Hell he could empty 10 rounds out the 303 in the time it took me to fire 15 out of my FN/FAL and often with better acuracey. Boy was he good.
Be safe.
Russel

Any update on this one yet? I'm waiting on tenderhooks like a coiled rope for the results!

I have the ammo. Now I need to get some free time. Hopefully the weather will be favorable. It's looking like late March. I haven't forgot about you guys, you'll be the first to know.

I always preferred "doing" rather than watching! Been like that since I saw my first Blue movie, some time ago.

I own one of each and love them both but the K31 is so much easier to load and cycle. K31 hands down.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I get a laugh out of statements like these. Really how "dangerous" could the K31 be? They used a rifle of this design for about a hundred years.
