I'm off to the rifle range tomorrow morning, I'll see what we can manage with the bolt actions. Just a practice day, it will all depend on how many turn up; probably start at 100/200 then move back a bit. Hope it's not snowing like it was today.

EDIT
Just back from a practice day at the range. Bluidy freezing, just above 0 (C) and Yes there are plenty of people who can keep all their rounds within 12" at 300 yards. I was in the Target butts for a while and I would say nearly all the guys shooting could keep them all within a 12" circle at the 300 meter mark. A few guys were shooting iron sighted N04's and SMLE's.

Good day out, started the day at the 100/200m firing point and eventually ended back at the 500m point before we gave up for the day; I never missed the Target once with my AR. Only thing I forgot to take today was my camera, never mind, maybe next time. Could have been worse, I have forgotten a bolt on a previous occasion.
