Here's my 1918 Ishapore No.1 MKIII, complete with the baby poop brown paint, carved initials in the stock, no magazine. I hope to bring her back to respectability. On the plus side, all matching numbers,no import stamp,it has the magazine cutoff, no Ishy screw, metal is good, and a pristine bore. Anybody got a 10rd magazine to sell?

here are some pics of my 1943 no4 mk1. How do I tell what arsenal made it ? It has England stamped on the barrel btw. It was in bad shape when I found it but It shoots well .
This is my No 4, MK 1 sporterized. I got this rifle for free from my uncle. Since then I've added a Bushnell 3-9 X 40 scope. During the process I had to remove the rear iron sights. The rifle is in great condition. Any idea how much it's worth?
It has a symbol that looks like an M in front of the date and under the date are the letters B.A. then under that is the serial # . The other side dose not have anything on it.

When you say an M in front of the date, is the date '47 ?
If so that is in fact M47 which is the 'wartime code' for BSA. If you can post a picture of the butt socket and / lef hand side of the action we'll know for sure.
