Can't you get a camera and take any pictures and post them? Kind of hard for anyone, myself not included, lol, to give any kind of an accurate number without even seeing a picture and even then it'd just be a guess by whomever?

Do a internet search for No1 MkIII , my best guess. Ammo that old is questionable....maybe worth 25¢ a round.

Check gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com. They are gun auction websites, and maybe there are enough Enfields on there of the same nature you might be able to get a read on price. But without pics, its nearly impossible to tell you anything else...

"Without a metal ring under the bolt" I'm guessing means a one-piece stock, if so that rules out SMLE's.

P14 / P17 maybe ?

There may be a collector's value in that ammo as well. Especially, if it is in it's original crate from almost 100 years ago. Do your research before doing anything with that ammo! Or Rifle for that matter.

Sounds like you have some interesting history!
