| Senior Member | If you're talking about the short .303, they are fairly popular among piggers over here, I've only ever seen one but everyone wants one. pretty rare indeed.

| Moderator ![]() | I have a 1927 Ishapor .303 Brit MK1something or other something or orhter Ishapore that I haven't given much attention to in a long time. i really enjoy shooting it though. It's a real shooter, but it's about twelve feet long! Would like a shorter one. That's why the jungle carbine caught my eye.

| Administrator ![]() | The wandering zero some UK armorers feel was due to the lightened reciever and barrel. Personally, I think the Brits were trying to squeeze rifle performance out of a carbine length barrel. At distances beyond 300 yds the carbine length barrel will not give the performance of the longer standard length barrel, say of the #4MK1.
