Ala-BAM-er 2005

:uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

Just got an email from Boonie, the set date for the first 2005 ALA-BAM-er machine gun shoot is June 04, 2005.
The shoot, as always is in Piedmont, Ala., I'll attach maps and directions later!
It seems that we are getting more and more interest in our little shoot. A lot of people have said that they really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, no "range nazi's" as at a lot of MG shoots. At the fall shoot last year, the crew from Georgia showed up with the infamous GUNZILLA. Joe would have lost it on that one, GUNZILLA is basically a crank operated, tripod mounted gatling made out of mostly AK parts!

YA'LL COME!

Also, anyone needing ammo can contact us at Summit & we can deliver to you at the shoot. http://www.summitammunition.com
Just make sure if you need .50 to call plenty ahead of time, we've been kinda covered up lately.

I love that shoot. I live just down the road from there. I go to the pit and shoot all the time. I hope Eddie lets us buy a shot with the .50 again.

Hey Bama, have you seen his .50 since the barrel was shortened? I told him that I don't believe the world is ready for a tactical entry .50! The percussion from the muzz blast is incredible! The part that really has me concerned is that he has mentioned using the piece of barrel he cut off for a pistol! Knowing Boonie, it's probably gonna happen?
McGiver is a Cub Scout compared to Eddie!

NOTE DATE CHANGE ABOVE!!!!

We're changing to the 4th of june, the Ft. Gordon fitty shoot is scheduled for the 11th.

The Ft. Gordon event is great too! Not many places you can set up with a light .50 and launch 'em at targets at a mile and a half!

Yup, that would be 14lbs in one big plastic jar!

In all the years we've had this shoot we've yet to loose a participant or observer. A few schrapnel wounds here and there but nothing serious.

At Talladega no expects a race car to jump the fence and land in their lap - but it could - and has happened.
When people get together to shoot machine guns and blow stuff up shidtz & giggles, no one expects to get clobbered by flying car/washing machine/lawn mower/etc. etc. parts - but it could and has happened. Ya gotta keep an eye downrange and pay attention.

At the Ala-BAM-er shoot, if you hear the cry "incomming", take it seriously and react! :right: :full:
