I have recently been on a website that I think is very useful, it provides a lot of information in one place for chess enthusiasts. The rules, upcoming events and other players in one space. It has a directory to that links you to the major chess federations. The best part is looking for other like minded people. The website is www.tiredandtested.com

I'm still curious why spam is so popular in Japan. They are so concerned about mad cow disease and our beef but spam is ok?

What's spam made from? I like the stuff myself, but can only handle it once a month. Sort of like a White Castle burger. A good "slider" it is to clean out the system.
