Hey if your interested in eating free and famous Lockhart BBQ and free range time, they will be having a fifth of July bash at the Lone Star gun range. Well, it was a big turn out, the parking lot was full all day.Clouds kept the heat down. The range now has covers over the benches, by the way which came another range that closed. It is still a diamond in the rough. They had to convert a few acres from subsidized farm land to commercial zoning which cost them five years in back subsidy. [Ouch] Some guy had a pristine semi auto Mauser which was cool. Had a good time with the AR, .308 and .45. I met some forum members from THR.
