Anyone own a Taurus model 66?

I'm looking at a Taurus Model 66 357 mag. I haven't heard of any feed back on this revolver. Anyone have any input on it?

My PT-745 is starting to give a lot of light strikes..

Anyone know if you can buy a heavier striker spring? Anyone had the striker apart? I've taken Glocks and S&Ws apart regularly, but haven't seen a setup like this before. I bought it used, so I don't know if I can get warranty or not. I'd just as soon fix it myself if I can get parts. Thanks for the help.

IWB Holster for a Slim

I just picked up my Slim. Any Slim owners have an IWB holster they prefer or tried one they dislike?

Guys a friend of mine has a Taurus--1911 AR-- nickel plated--with gold colored trigger, hammer, 2 (one on each side) safeies, and gold slide release, gold allen head screws holding the grips on, pearl handles along with a black set of grips. See now why I call it a "Pimp Pistol".

He has never fired it and wants $575.00 for it. I have been searching the Internet and can't find this particular any where. I want to see what they 'retail' for to see if this is a good deal or not.

Since this is a "TAURUS" Forum I thought I would ask you guys.
Don't come back and talk about any model except this Pimp Pistol. I know they have 1911 AR in different finishes but I want info on this one. Also he has never fired the pistol and says that it has a Match Barrel. I can see that the barrel has the same serial number as the pistol engraved on it..

Pt 24/7 CA .40 cal JAMMING!!

JUst got my first pistol. A used PT 24/7 Ca. The guy at the shop said it only had 2 boxes of ammo through it. Everything thing looks brand new. I believe the guy, the place has a pretty good rep. I waited 10 days, picked it up brought home and cleaned it really good. Went to the range today, fire about 4 shots, JAM. Cleared the jam. 3 shots JAm. Thought not good. Tried the other mag, Basically same thing. I'm thinking bad Magazines? Cleaned it again and the magazines as well. Gonna try again before i call Taurus. Is there some sort of break in period or is that just BS? The problem from what I can tell is feed faileur <- (Kant Spel). Any suggestions? Thanks
