GR seeing as how yer from New Mexico I'll let that one slide. LOL if you're interested in a couple of near fool proof walk away and check later smoker/grill recipes for larger gatherings let me know

You can pre-bake chicken quarters, put them in a ziplock, and pour in a bottle of bbq sauce and throw them in a cooler. They'll marinate very well, and since the chicken is cooked, you can reuse the sauce when you grill. Sides that are quick are loaves of garlic bread heated on the grill, and whole ears of corn. Peel back the husks without pulling them off, remove the silk, spread with butter, salt, pepper and garlc powder. Wrap the husks back over the corn, and throw in a ziplock bag. About 10 min or less for the chicken, 5 minutes for the corn, turning frequently (you want the husks to burn a little), and just a minute or two for the bread. When the corn is done, peel back the husks and twist them into a "handle".
