Grilling for a Group?

We will be fishing the first week of May. There will be seven of us total. I would like to grill one night. Can anyone suggest a pretty fool-proof recipe for something I can make on the grill? It can't take all day. I will have limited grilling resources too.

Steaks are the first thing that cam to my mind, but I knew you guys would have some better ideas.

Brisket

Have some thin sliced brisket you have marianated and perhaps
injected with marianate. Let the grilling melt the fat and leave you
with some good eating.

Dookie what kind of grill or smoker do you have it's approximate size I have a couple of reasonably "Fool" proof suggestions most anyone can prepare.

Try fresh pork sausage or brats.

Fresh fish...season with garlic, Butter, lemon juice, and dried Parsley,a little salt...
Cut very thin round slices of lemon, place on top, 3-4 per filet ( if it is 16 inches long...we get big filets here !)...wrap in aluminum foil and seal...Place on med Hot Grill for 15-20 Minutes, you should here them sizzling...Side dishes can be Baked beans, baked potatoes, coleslaw, grilled veggies, corn on cob, etc...
serve !

I just thought of something else. Get a large aluminum pan from the grocery store the disposable kind. Take 3 cans cream of chicken soup, one large yellow onion sliced into big thick rings, two red bell peppers sliced ,one pound smoked sausage or kielbasa cut into one and one half inch pieces , six ears corn on the cob cut into, and six roma tomatoes or a package of cherry tomatoes and a pack of whole fresh mushrooms. Take all of it and put it on the grill and let it go until the corn is done and the onions are soft. Try it at home first to see how much you need for your trip. You serve everything separately on the plate.

Dookiebutt: Sir; you need some 'Hoppes' for atmosphere, and some gun powder, for excitement.

Use a ?pill? bottle with gun powder; a short string; with a hot glue gun to seal the mess up.

Something I enjoy making for company with a somewhat more European flavor (pun intended) is a take on a "grillplate" meal. You make portions of perhaps three or four different main courses (meats) and serve portions of all, to all, for a bit of variety. A few I'll suggest that will NOT break the bank would be a beef cut "London Broil" (always best when marinaded a few hours and cooked no more than med rare), a pork loin or tenderloin and then the brats someone else was good enough to suggest would all be meats that are less expensive than decent steaks and can be cooked on a grill. The multi-main course thing always seems to go over well, when we've done it. Good Luck

I will get the details on the grill. We need to cook at least one night. It goes with the cigars and the bottle of Bookers.

My personal thing when I'm cooking for a group is I'll typically smoke a brisket or maybe grill some wings over mesquite chunks. Keeps everyone happy.
