Pork Sirloin Burgers

So, today in the grocery store I saw some ground pork for less than 2 dollars for more than a pound. So I picked it up. I also picked up a package of ground sirloin. While walking through the aisles I decided to make a new twist on burgers. I mixed half pork and half sirloin. Patted them out into burgers. Moderately crusted each side with ground sea salt and pepper, then put them in the pan to fry. I forgot to pick up burger buns, but I did have a couple of those french stix loaves, so I cut those up, dipped them in the burger drippings, and toasted them. I usually have Boar's Head provolone in my fridge, so I melted some of that and a little bit of deli sliced Colby on top. Fixed it up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. Woooooweeee! It's good.

Sounds excellent! Try the ground turkey. It's pretty cheap here and when you season it it's hard to tell from beef. (especially in chili)
